UKICC at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2026
Celebrating interconnectedness, creativity, and cross-cultural artistic exchange in the heart of London
Congratulations to the Royal Academy of Arts for its 258th Summer Exhibition at Burlington House in Piccadilly, London, a landmark celebration of contemporary creativity and artistic expression.
The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2026 brought together over 18,000 submissions from across the UK, with 1,000 works selected by jury. Curated by Ryan Gander RA OBE under the theme of “interconnectedness”, the exhibition showcases a diverse and dynamic range of artistic voices from emerging talents to established practitioners.
Set within the historic surroundings of Burlington House, the exhibition presents a vibrant spectrum of painting, sculpture, installation, multimedia, and conceptual works, creating an immersive visual experience defined by colour, politics, nature, and material experimentation.
Artistic Vision and Scale
The RA Summer Exhibition continues to stand as one of the most significant open-submission exhibitions globally, offering artists a prestigious platform where all exhibited works are available for sale, with proceeds supporting the Royal Academy Schools and the development of the next generation of British artists.
The 2026 edition reinforces the RA’s role as a cultural anchor in London, where creativity, dialogue, and artistic exchange converge at scale.
